Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Klovex ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on klovex.xyz (the "Website") and inside the Klovex application (the "Service"). It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to remember information about your visit, which makes the site easier to use and more useful. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage and pixels — work in comparable ways and are covered by this Policy.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary — to authenticate you, keep your session active, remember your workspace and protect against cross-site request forgery.
- Preferences — to remember interface preferences such as dark/light mode, table column order, or the last view you had open.
- Analytics (first-party) — to measure aggregate usage of the Service so we can find rough edges and prioritize improvements.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the Service and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
3. The specific cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| klv_session | Authenticates the current user session. | Session | Strictly necessary |
| klv_csrf | Protects against cross-site request forgery on POST endpoints. | Session | Strictly necessary |
| klv_ws | Remembers the active workspace across reloads. | 30 days | Preferences |
| klv_theme | Stores the selected color theme (dark / light / system). | 1 year | Preferences |
| klv_consent | Stores your cookie-consent choice so we don't ask again. | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
| _klv_analytics | First-party, aggregated usage analytics. IP-truncated. | 90 days | Analytics |
4. Third-party cookies
On the public marketing site we do not embed third-party trackers. When you sign in to the Service, your browser may receive cookies from the ad platforms you choose to connect (TikTok, Meta, Google) during their OAuth handshake. Those cookies are set by the respective platforms under their own cookie policies, not by Klovex.
5. Your choices
Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the Service will not work without them. For Preferences and Analytics cookies you can:
- accept or reject categories through the cookie banner shown on your first visit;
-
change your choice at any time from the
Contact page (mention "cookie preferences" in
your message) or by deleting the
klv_consentcookie; - configure your browser to block all cookies, in which case parts of the Service may stop working.
6. Changes to this Policy
When we add or remove cookies we update this page and the table above. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
