User Data Deletion
Last updated: 22 May 2026
You are in control of the data you bring into Klovex. This page describes every way to remove your data — for an entire workspace, a single connected ad platform, or your individual user account.
1. What "deletion" means at Klovex
Deletion removes the data from our production database. Within 30 days we also remove it from backups, except where retention is required by law (for example, to comply with tax or accounting obligations on billing records). Once a delete operation completes:
- access tokens for any connected ad platform are revoked at our end;
- cached platform data (campaigns, reports, creatives) is purged;
- user accounts can no longer be used to sign in;
- workspaces are no longer searchable or restorable from our side.
Deletion at Klovex does not delete anything inside your ad platforms (TikTok, Meta, Google). Your campaigns and reporting history remain intact in those platforms.
2. Self-service deletion (recommended)
Disconnect a single ad platform
- Open Klovex and go to Settings → Connected accounts.
- Find the platform you want to disconnect (TikTok, Meta, Google Ads).
- Click Disconnect and confirm.
Klovex immediately revokes the access token, schedules cached platform data for deletion and stops syncing. You can also revoke authorization directly from the platform's own connected-apps page.
Delete your workspace
- You must be the workspace Owner.
- Go to Settings → Workspace → Danger zone.
- Click Delete workspace, type the workspace name to confirm.
Every connected ad platform is disconnected, every user is removed, and all workspace data is queued for deletion. Backups are purged within 30 days.
Delete your individual user account
- Go to Settings → Profile → Delete account.
- Confirm the email of the account being deleted.
If you are the sole Owner of a workspace, Klovex first prompts you to transfer ownership or to delete the workspace alongside the account.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in or prefer not to use the self-service flow, send an email to privacy@klovex.xyz from the address registered with Klovex and include:
- the email address of the account to delete;
- the workspace name (if known);
- the scope of deletion requested ("single platform disconnect", "workspace", or "user account").
We will verify the request, action it, and confirm completion within seven business days, and in any event within the deadlines required by the GDPR.
4. TikTok user data deletion
For users whose TikTok ad account is connected to a Klovex workspace, revoking access through any of the methods above causes Klovex to:
- revoke the TikTok access and refresh tokens at our end;
- delete cached TikTok data (campaign metadata, performance reports, creatives metadata) from our production database within 24 hours;
- purge that data from backups within 30 days.
You may also revoke Klovex's access directly from your TikTok For Business account at any time. To request confirmation that TikTok user data associated with you has been deleted, contact privacy@klovex.xyz.
5. Data exports before deletion
You can export your workspace data (campaigns, reporting, creatives metadata) as CSV/JSON from Settings → Workspace → Export before deleting. We recommend doing this if you may want the data again later.
6. Retention exceptions
After deletion, Klovex may retain a minimal subset of records strictly required to meet legal obligations (for example, invoices and billing records that tax law requires us to keep for a defined period). Those records do not contain Personal Data beyond what tax law strictly requires.
